VicUrban is the Victorian Government's sustainable urban development agency committed to delivering prosperous and successful communities in regional and metropolitan Victoria.
One of Victoria's largest residential land developers, VicUrban has a diverse portfolio of projects including:
- Melbourne Docklands;
- new suburban communities;
- urban renewal projects;
- Transit Cities for nominated sites including Central Dandenong, Footscray, Geelong and Ringwood on behalf of the Victorian Government.

Melbourne Docklands is the new, exciting waterfront precinct at the western end of Melbourne's CBD.
It is a large urban renewal project and Australia's largest construction project. Comprising 200 hectares of land and water, Docklands is around the same size as the Melbourne CBD.
This vibrant destination is being developed in stages with a vision to create a sustainable, mixed-use area of public waterfront space where people can live, work and visit.
At project completion around 2020, Melbourne Docklands is expected to become a home for 20,000, a workplace for 30,000 people in a wide variety of employment and a visitor destination for approximately 20 million people per year.
