About

Founded in 2003, the Place Leaders Association (PLA) is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes leadership in place making and place management practices throughout Australasia.

The PLA is a network of place-related organisations, with a focus within the Australasian region, that are involved in urban development / renewal projects or have responsibility for the management of public places.  The PLA network provides the opportunity to develop successful place making practices through community engagement, debate, information exchange, as well as analysis and research.
